Palmetto Bluff Bound!

Despite the rainy forecast for this weekend, the Mix girls + our husbands

(aka the self-proclaimed "Men of Mix") + another couple are headed to Palmetto Bluff!

We couldn't be more excited!!

Looking forward to spending a little time here at the Spa:

Eating dinner here to celebrate Adrian's 30th birthday!

Staying in this darling cottage with a great back porch!

(Will be perfect if we're rained in all weekend!)

Riding bikes to the Village

and around the property... where we're sure to be inspired by the architecture and color palette:

And hopefully the sun will come out so we can spend a little time here:

IDENTITY. CRISIS.

Do you ever have an identity crisis?

You know, you are flipping thru the pages of the latest shelter magazine, see a house designed completely different from your own, and think "I've got to completely re-do my house!"

This is what we at Mix call an "identity crisis."

(And yes, it happens to us monthly, or weekly, ok- daily.)

And it happened this morning when we got an e-mail from Lee Jofa announcing the

Lily Pulitzer Collection!

Suddenly, we want to move down to sunny Palm Beach, purchase a fabulous retro-chic house and infuse it with color and pattern, chintz!, lacquered bamboo, wallpaper in every room, and layout poolside on the terrace under umbrellas drinking ice-cold mint mojitos!
